What we collect
- Your email address, used to create your account and log you in.
- Invoice information you enter: your business name, your customer's name, a description of the job, the amount, how you want to be paid (for example a Zelle phone number or email, a Cash App tag), and optional notes.
- Payment information. Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. We keep a Stripe customer ID so we can link your account to your subscription.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider records in the normal course of running a website.
Cookies and storage
We use a login cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also remembers your business name on your device so the form is faster next time. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
To run jobinvoice: log you in, store and show your invoices, bill your subscription, send login and service emails, answer support requests, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Invoice links are visible to anyone who has them
When you share an invoice link, anyone with that link can see the invoice, including your business name, your customer's name, the amount and your payment instructions. Share links only with the people you intend. You are responsible for having the right to enter your customers' information.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers we need to operate jobinvoice:
- Supabase, for the database and login.
- Cloudflare, for hosting.
- Stripe, for subscription payments.
- Resend, for sending emails.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and invoices at any time. Stripe may keep payment records as required by law.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct or delete your information. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion and correction, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections and access controls. No online service can promise perfect security.
Children
jobinvoice is for adults running a business. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
