Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. What jobinvoice is
jobinvoice is a web app that lets self-employed tradespeople create invoices and share them with their customers by link or PDF. We provide the tool. We are not a party to any agreement or payment between you and your customers.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and use jobinvoice for business purposes. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.
3. Your account
You log in with a link we email you. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for the information you enter.
4. Subscription and billing
- The price is $9 per month.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it. The trial is available once per customer.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged $9 automatically, and then every month until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
- Taxes may be added where required by law.
- If we change the price, we will tell you before the change applies to you.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from "Manage billing" on your dashboard. After you cancel, you will not be charged again and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
6. Refunds
Our refund rules are in the Refund Policy.
7. We do not process your customers' payments
An invoice made with jobinvoice shows your customer how to pay you directly, for example by Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, check or cash. We never handle that money. You are responsible for collecting payment, for marking invoices paid, for the accuracy of what you send, and for any taxes you owe.
8. Your content
You own the invoices and information you enter. You give us permission to store them and to show them to anyone who has the invoice link. Anyone with an invoice link can view that invoice, so share links only with the people you intend.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use jobinvoice for anything unlawful, for false or fraudulent invoices, or to harm, overload or break into the service.
10. Availability and changes to the service
jobinvoice is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change it or stop offering it. If we stop the service, we will tell you and refund the current billing period you paid for.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use jobinvoice after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
